Philosophy
John was educated at the W.P Carey School of business at Arizona State University.
He holds a degree in business management, a minor in psychology and a certificate in international business. He attended Drake University College of Law in his home state of Iowa. where he earned his J.D. John moved to Austin following law school to start his own law practice.
John's hobbies and interests include entrepreneurship, photography, physical fitness and community betterment.
He has been involved in six business, including commercial photography, consulting, vending, and merchant services. John worked as a personal trainer in college and still enjoys leading an active lifestyle. John is a founding and board member of Lifted Spirits, a non-profit organization aimed at helping members of the service industry in Austin.
